Random thoughts on an almost Thanksgiving Day morning:

1. We ordered a fresh turkey this year. Have you ever brined a turkey before? We got a turkey last year that was brined and it was so YUMMY.

Get in my tummy.

2. Another edition of “What I Bought Wednesday” is live on my YouTube Channel. You can see it here along with the BEST Christmas wrapping organizer.

3. We almost had a yard sale today. I was so close. Everything was loaded into the living room. But this morning I walked downstairs and I looked at it and thought “Would I rather go to breakfast with my family or sell my old Christmas decorations?”

Breakfast won.

It’s all being donated instead.

4. It was an amazing week on the blog. I shared these amazing sets of wrapping paper (all coordinated and under $15) and this simple DIY ornament idea and this easy DIY for your Thanksgiving table.

5. All the chicks are home. Just in time for family Christmas photos on Tuesday. We are all wearing red and khaki and cream and bringing Buddy.

Say a prayer. 🙂

Oh boy, been there, this weekend in fact...all the stuff was ready to be listed on Facebook Marketplace and then I said, no. Donated it instead. You must be so excited with your family coming home. Enjoy every moment with them and that turkey. Yum!!

Enjoy the family and make memories. The Scandinavian Christmas decor was simple, but beautiful with the glassware. I may try the orange slices since I have always wanted to see how I would like it. I'm experiencing Christmas overload when it comes to ideas :)

Yes for donating!! Brining is the only way to go!! Putting mine onto soak Tuesday morning. FYI you can freeze cranberries. Just toss a bag into your freezer, works great! And the link of what to say to someone struggling over the holidays was perfect. Simple but so helpful. There’s been a lot of loss over the last year and a half. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving! 🦃

That's exactly what Christmas is all about, giving, and now one or more will have a great holiday too! Spending time with family and making memories is so important too, you have already had a wonderful start to celebrating our Saviors birth.

Enjoy Thanksgiving with your family. Great thistles this week - so much incredible inspiration out there you rounded up for us! Thanks, KA! Smile pretty for your card photo this week - more than 100 pounds less of you this year. Whooooot!!!!!! Incredible! My sis and hubs are still in Florida so we are sooooo blessed to have her 4 wonderful children for Thanksgiving this year - soooo looking forward to it! One is graduated and the 3 girls are all in college. I know they will have so much to talk about! Yippeeeee!!!

I have to chime in... When Kari said, I'll donate the christmas decor... I had a thought... Many decades ago, I sold Christmas around the World ~ a home party/Catalog company. I had aquired "lots" of Christmas items. After many years, it became too much. So, each year, I try and find a family who lost their home to a fire. I picture what they must feel and research where I can donate blankets, clothes, toys, and christmas decor too! I know the meaning of Christmas and just hope my little collections will make a child smile and feel the spirit of Christmas. I am sure some family in Texas will ADORE Kari's stuff! Happy Holidays All <3 xoxo
