You look incredible! That is no small feat losing over 100 pounds. I’ve found a few (oh, who’s kidding, 25 pounds) over the pandemic. Some bad habits have worked their way in. Any and all tips are much appreciated. Maybe a blog post with weight loss suggestions is in order? Way back when you started, i suggested stevia-sweetened Lily bars and you graciously replied back. On top of being a great blogger and an accomplisher of big things, most importantly, you seem like such a great person. So raise a cup of water and toast yourself for things accomplished and for being you. 😊

So much yummy autumn-ness!! This is my favorite season and not just because my birthday is in fall. ;) WOWZA! You have exceeded your weight loss goal! Congratulations!!!! You look amazing!!! I've been starting my fall decor change in my home and it makes me so happy. Thanks for all the added ideas! I LOVEEEEE Liz Marie's blog and where in the world did she get those AAAmazing leaves? I'll have to comb back through her blog to see if she tells us. Yes, please on the pumpkin spice everything and that pecan pie is going to have to find it's way into my life this season. Happy almost fall, friend! PS: No clogs for me, please :)

Congratulations on reaching and surpassing your weight loss goal! You’ve always looked lovely but I’m delighted that you’re a healthier lovely now. The hubs is on a mission to be a “healthier lovely” and has lost 13 pounds of the 55 he needs to shed. Unfortunately; I think half of every pound he sheds is migrating to me, lol! Guess it’s time to dust off my exercise routine. Oh, clogs? That’s a definite “yes, please!” They’ve been in and out of style since I was a toddler in the early 60’s. The pair that I bought in the last fashion cycle when they were in stores is about worn out so I think I’ll buy two pairs this time so they’ll hopefully stay in better shape waiting on the following fashion cycle to bring them back again.

What a journey you've been on KariAnne. Congratulations on your amazing weight loss. I really need to figure out a way to drink more water. And eating less would be good too! Loved your features this week, especially Wendy's outdoor lampshades and tablescape. Gorgeous!

105 lbs is quite an achievement, plus you look too cute. I actually like clogs because it gets cold where I live and I wear them with the socks I've knitted. I put those socks on and it's a boost for me. Hope the girls are well. Bless you.

I don't have the heart to transition into fall decorating ... yet ... but there are so many pretty posts to inspire! In answer to your clog question, I absolutely love them. They are cute and so easy to put on and off. I'm not sure what the current trend is with them--socks, no socks? Inquiring minds want to know!

Once again you nailed it. My pompom sweater came in today, I got the gray one. I LOVE it. I really love the dress in plum so I ordered that and the pompom sweater in cream.. Keep up the great work, you do the hard part finding all this stuff and all I have to do is order it. Doesnt get any better than that. Kim

Clogs oh yes, always and forever! Although I am ancient so I’ve always worn them. My favorite are the boiled wool ones. Nowadays you can get them in amazing colors and they last for years!

  10. Image for Donna Marie Donna Marie

You are doing so fine!!! I cannot imagine losing the weight you have. You look so happy!!! And I know you feel better!!! Your family loves you for it and especially your hubs--without going into detail--it comes at a good time because you and he are on your second honeymoon with all the kiddos gone!!! Lol Buy those sexy nighties and feel it!!!

Love clogs-like the foot support as I have high arches. Thanks for the weekly wrap up-so much to do:) you have the best ideas :) Hope you enjoy Labor Day weekend.

Congrats on your weight loss, I can tell your excitement buying clothes. I will be interested to hear what you think of Beecham House. I am looking forward to Only Murders In The Building comedy/mystery on Hulu. I am letting episodes build up. I appreciate all you share and thought I'd share one back at you. Find Timothee Chalamet singing Everything Happens to Me on you tube...the one with the picture of the rain on the window. Whenever I am a little stressed I click on it and my shoulders immediately relax.

Congrats on the weight loss and keeping it off. Clogs are great and they are good for your feet .Fall makes me happy so does new decor, but my favorite is anything pumpkin spice.

Another wonderful week of Thistlekeeping! Thank you for sharing my spice organizer/cookbook rack. Keeping you close in prayer this week. With your wonderful attitude, you will be amazing at this, too, friend!

  15. Image for Janice Janice

Congrats on your weight loss and keeping it off! I deal with weight and it is a hard process. Water is so good for SO many reasons!! Loved your fall clothing from Walmart and have some in the cart. The Giraffe and Bee shoe link however sends me to the black slip on mesh shoe. I could not find those cute statement shoes anywhere:-( As far as Beecham House, a very good series BUT they leave you hanging in a bad spot with NO season 2 I am told. So ifyou are ok with that enjoy! Thanks for your blog!

  16. Image for Myra Myra

KariAnne-what a blessing you are. Fun & inspiring! Each time I hear 100lbs (105) mentioned it stuns me. I’d NEVER have thought you had that much weight to lose! What an accomplishment! I’m so happy for you. You’re encouraging many others in their journeys, I’m sure! Your ideas & links are oases— little vacations— from “the cares of this world” & they inspire me to perk up my home. Thank you for your continued diligence & love 💕 Blessings to your family!

A great week of Thistlewood Keeping. Lots of wonderful ideas. Yes, I love clogs. and any kind of slip on mules. I find them so comfortable to wear.. Congrats on maintaining! You got this!

  19. Image for linda linda

Clogs...wooden ones I assume with cool colors of leather tops. Love them! I had several pairs back in the day and wore them all the time. One of the fashion trends from that decade that wasn't ugly

  20. Image for Linda Andersen Linda Andersen

Hi Karianne, I have followed you since your girls were little and for a while I went off offline. Well wasn't I surprised when I saw you looking all thin and fit!! I just registered so that I can read your story. That is wonderful. I have lost 25 just by cutting out the chips and cookies. I'm sliding a bit but you have inspired me. Love, Linda

Wow! You are amazing to lose that much weight in that time frame...or at all!!! I love the 100 yr old pie recipe! Also, my curiosity is going crazy...on the email post is a picture of a carved wooden bowl with a small velvet pumpkin inside...AND little bookpage (?)paper(?) hearts(?) inside the bowl, also. Where did you get the bookpage(?) paper hearts(?), please? I want to make some. thank you! I look forward to reading your fun-filled and informative posts each time!
