Random thoughts on a summery Saturday morning:

1. I’m in the middle of the best series on Prime. It’s called “A French Village” and it’s in French with English subtitles. It’s set in World War II with the German occupation of France.

I was hooked from the first episode.

2. In sad news,I, don’t have a new episode of “What I Bought Wednesday” because we are frantically trying to get the twins off for college.

Here’s my most popular episode from several months ago that you might have missed.

3. I tried a middle part yesterday.

I’m still not sure if eventually I’ll think it’s cute?

4. It was a great week on the blog. We discussed 12 easy fabric crafts and what I’ve been reading and 7 DIY techniques you can use to makeover a thrift store find and the BEST organizer for your shoes.

5. My nails and toes are both summer red.

Now they match my lipstick. 🙂

And now?

Let’s see all the amazing finds I discovered for us this week.

Thanks for the tip on The French Village. I don't have television, but do have Amazon Prime Video so could stream at least the first season for free and then it looks as if the free options skip from 2009 to 2013! You may have to publish a synopsis!

Hi! Simple Saturday wishes for you and blessings to the twins as they make their voyage past the doors of SEVEN HUNDRED ONE. .

You're in my thoughts as you get the twins ready. Our oldest grandson is heading to his first year of college on Wednesday. I know my daughter is having a hard time. You can buy supplies, pack and generally keep your mind occupied but your heart is another matter. I'm trying to come to terms with it all myself. it's my children going away again all over again. : ( Cheap Old Houses is fun to watch and I especially love the last segment where they take you to tour an old house that's been saved.

Love to hear about a new series to watch. Unfortunately even if you have Amazon Prime you have to subscribe to MHz to see it. I just can't justify paying for another streaming service 😒 bummer

Happy Saturday! Thanks so much for sharing my watermelon salad recipe. <3 I hope all goes well getting your girls off to school!

Take the plunge on the center part! I found a picture of myself when I was three wearing the SAME bob, parted on the SAME side, with the SAME bangs as I wear now. To top it off, I had my hands on my chubby little hips giving attitude to one and all. (Not at all like today, right?) lol In the 80’s, my bangs were more bendy and I had that side part bump on the top of my head thing going on. At least that is gone! Yes, I am timeless (just tell my wrinkles that, okay?)

What beautiful things to share this morning. I always have to check them all out and pin a few along the way. Thinking of you and these precious days before those sweet twins head to college. My heart’s right there with you, my friend.

Can I please state the obvious? Oh my goodness. You look AH-mazing. Certainly not like someone sending their youngest two off to college. More like someone going to college. Or junior year in dang high school. I truly truly truly hope you are having the time of your life. 😘😘

I’d love to see you with a center part! I know it looks fabulous! Thinking of you as you see the twinnies (auto correct wants to make the Twinkies) off to college. It’s a bittersweet time. They’re going to have the cuties dorm rooms ever. xo

This is such an exciting time for all of you!! All the feelings are there like it's your girl's first day of Kindergarten, but they are adults!! May the laughter out way the tears. We totally understand about "What I Bought Wednesday." You've had an incredibly busy time getting them ready for their transition. Perhaps that means you will buy twice as much the next Wednesday. ;). I love the yarn pumpkin! I made a braided sweater pumpkin last year and loved it, but this one looks much easier and faster to make. Thanks for sharing all the inspiration this week! I am cheering you on as you make this transition with your girls. You can do this! Praying for you!
