Random thoughts on an exciting basketball Saturday:
1. I’m so excited about book club this morning at 10:30. I’m going live at 10:30 CST. You can still sign up to join us (it’s FREE) here.
2. Here’s a fun video I filmed this week with all of my favorite beauty finds (including an amazing chin mask).
3. If you’ve been following along with the tale of the 50-year-old Pittosporums that were severely affected by the snowstorm? In super, super sad news we had to cut them back to the roots this week. I’m cheering those 50-year-old roots on more than the Baylor Bears.
4. It was a fun week on the blog. We talked about how to hide the television cords and how to decorate a dough bowl and I shared some of my favorite cozy finds.
And I told you I’ve been shopping for my mother.
5. I’m headed out today to find more Mandevilla for the porches to distract myself from the Pittosporum roots.
And now?
Are you ready?
Grab some refreshment. It’s been an amazing week.
Here are some of my favorite finds.
Look at this adorable Easter place setting.
She used egg crates and she stamped her eggs.
You can see the entire table here.
If you have ever dreamed of brick floors?
This is the post for you.

This fun beach cottage spring tour.
I love how she decorates with vintage finds.
And this.
I saved the best for last.
This is the before. Pick up your jaw because YOU WON’T BELIEVE THE AFTER.
You can see it here.

And if you need a little hope in your day.
This is the story for you.

How we gripe about living today!?!?!? The people in concentration camps were the ones that had hope and continued to believe in God!!!

And just when I think I can't love a Saturday morning of Thistlekeeping any more than I already do, I see my spring home tour featured! Thank you so much, it is so appreciated and I can't tell you enough how much it means for you to like it enough to share it with your subscribers. I really loved seeing a new blog today, with the Scandinavian Cottage Style Kitchen. Loved it! Have a great weekend!
Thanks for these sweet ideas that help us with inspiration.
I always love everything, but the Song Of Hope cheered me on today and made my heart sing. Thank you, some days I need that more than others.
KariAnne, You are so sweet to share all this inspiration with us! I was so excited to see that you shared my amazing transformation chest. This made my day. Thank you for all you do to encourage and support us. Rachel
So many beautiful projects and ideas! Happy weekend to you! Shelley
Kari Anne - You amaze me. Where do you get your energy! Thanks for sharing your “ Random Thoughts” and especially my Bunny Buttons. Hugs.
Hope your shrubs hang in there. Have had that happen several times and they did come back. I am hoping that some of my potted plants made it through the winter here. We are still in the 30's at night here in southern California and that is not good for some of the tropical plants :(. Thanks for the weekly wrap up and the links with all the additional ideas. I agree with the readers above- YOU ARE AMAZING!
I wanted to let you know I watched your makeup video on instagram a couple days ago. You made me laugh! I am so impressed that you can laugh at yourself! It's contagious! I especially enjoyed the turkey neck section. Thanks for making my day!
Yet another wonderful Thistle week. Thanks, KA. Happy Palm Sunday blessings to you and yours. God bless you this very Holy Easter week.
