Random thoughts on a cloudy, movie-watching, book-reading Saturday:

1. I am literally about to cry with happiness. I cannot THANK YOU ENOUGH for all of the encouragement and sign-ups and new members we have in the new Thistlewood Mastermind Community. I was just over in the group and there was so much kindness and joy and people lifting each other’s blogs and businesses up.

The community is still open for five more days and then it closes for six months.

If this seems like something you might be interested in you can sign up here.

2. Did anyone listen to Taylor Swift’s new album yet? It’s really good. Each of her albums has it’s own personality and this one sounds more like folk music.

3. I am all about rattan earrings lately. They are so summery and so light and easy to wear. I’ve found them on Amazon, but let me know if you’ve seen them anywhere else. I want to get one more pair.

4. It was an amazing week on the blog. We talked about how to layer bedding and where you can get it and I discovered that I sound just like my mother and we discussed how to make money from a blog and how to mix patterns with blue and white.

5. Did anyone see that a new Top Gun is coming out? And Tom Cruise is going to be in the movie again. I CAN’T WAIT.

6. It was in the high 90’s here this week and we need someone to do a rain dance and bring some precipitation. How’s the weather where you are?

I love the alfresco dining and can picture sipping peach tea with friends at the farn table....well with friends next year, hopefully. Thanks, KariAnne for all the summer pretties! I definitely think those wooden tree cutouts wood sell. They are cute! OK, so I have a question completely unrelated to this post. I've looked high and low for the answer, and though I love your posts, was having to scroll through pages and still can't find it. So here goes a flashback question....where did you find your white on white sculpured area rug in your bedroom? Seems to me you posted it came in different sizes. I need a 5X8 . I thought I saved that info when you posted it, but can't find that either! I'm in a pickle! Thanks and happy Saturday night to you!

Oh yes! You should sell the Christmas tree. I’d buy them for myself and for gifts. I think my mom and my sister would love them and I know I do,

I've been looking forward to the new Top Gun movie since last year (it's original release year). Then the release was moved to this summer. Then Covid happened. Then it the release as moved to this December. Now, again thanks to Covid, the release has been moved to summer of 2021. The original is one of my favorite movies even now. Hopefully we'll be able to see it in a theater next summer.

Yes, I absolutely think that your brother and husband should make those Christmas trees. I would definitely buy them, and would enjoy adding them to my decor. I love the natural and neutral beauty of them, and believe that they would compliment almost any type of Christmas decor from simple to elegant. I really did enjoy reading this post and all that it contained. Thank you.
