Random thoughts on a sunny Saturday:

1. I actually don’t know if Saturday is going to be sunny because I’m writing this post ahead of time.

I’m an optimist.

My glass is half-full.

So in my heart it’s always sunny.

2. I am the keynote speaker at Haven (the blogging conference) today. I’m the one near the stage who is nervous right about now and applying extra red lipstick.

3. Charles Dickens is one of the most brilliant authors who have ever lived. He knows his way around a random supporting character like no one’s business. I just finished watching Little Dorrit on Prime this past week and it is amazing.

4. Remember when I asked your advice about cutting off my jeans? And you said to go for it? Guess what? I DID IT. I’m so short that I have to cut off almost every pair of jeans I owned.

And now?

My ripped jeans and I are on stage at Haven.

Thank you for all the fashion advice.

I’m so happy we’re friends.

And now?

Let’s see what the internet has been up to this week:

Hope you had a wonderful time at your event. Yes...I like potting sheds, you have probably seen Chip and Joanna's " shed" in their amazing garden. Now that is a potting shed! What I am always yearning for is a big beautiful green house. It's always something :)

Hi KariAnne, Congrats on being the Haven speaker..You earned it. I have a question about your white bathroom with the gorgeous shower door with the two chrome arches on the glass wall or door?? Where can I research these? Thank you. It was on the July 20,19 post.
