Random thoughts on a Saturday morning:

1. Thank you for the color opinion.  I think we all like blue.  Although I saw a few avid red and purple fans.

2. We went to a football game last night with our fierce high school rivals.  It was exciting and amazing and incredible—until.  Until we lost.

3. I got the most exciting news on the planet last night about the next book.  I cannot wait to share it with all of  you.

4. I shopped the Hearth and Home collection from Magnolia yesterday.  There were too many cute things to choose from.  There were plaid stockings and galvanized candle holders and placecard holders and tags.

And an adorable advent calendar that I brought home.

Merry Christmas to me.

Advent is just around the corner and I’ve been pinning cute advent ideas.

And in super fun Christmas present idea news, my friend Tracie came up with the cutest idea for Christmas.

A hand-painted watercolor of your home.

Here’s my before that I sent her.

This is Thistlewood in the snow.

She hand painted it with watercolor and now it looks like this.

Isn’t it cute?

You can order your own before Christmas here.

The set comes with a hand-painted watercolor and two coffee mugs.

Just in time for Christmas. 🙂

I went to a Magnolia Homes event yesterday here in NC. Oh my...there were so many lovely items. I brought home an awesome galvanized holder with a handle. It has 3 small sections and one larger one behind them. So perfect to hold my art brushes and notepad..
