I’m so excited I want to dance the lawnmower in my living room and shake my purple toes and hula hoop across Kentucky. I’ve been working and hoping and planning and dreaming for this day for over four months now and it’s almost here.
Can I get an exclamation point!
Maybe one more ! and a couple of friends !!!!!
But I digress.
Let me start at the beginning. I love shopping.
I’m not picky. I shop thrift stores and estate sales and the dollar store and the side of the road and that table in the front aisle at WalMart with the 75% off snorkels and tic tac toe sets.
I’ve been known to spend an afternoon with a slurpee and a shopping cart when everything goes 90% off after Christmas.
But I’ve never had my own shop before.
I’ve never had my own collection of everything I really loved all in one place.
About six months ago, I was approached by Painted Fox to see if I wanted to have a shop within a shop on their website.
They explained I could source everything and anything in my house and put it in my shop and I could name everything and write all the product descriptions.
Watch out world.
So I’m offering products like this metal stool with chippy, distressed finish and tiny metal casters that looks like it sat in my kitchen since the house was built in 1918.
And this mason jar rack from the kitchen.
With its black metal sides and individual racks to hang cups or mason jars or burlap bags or buckets.
And this morse code chart from the front entry.
The one everyone asked about and I found for SUCH a reasonable price.
And the wood bead chandelier that is sitting in the middle of my dining room getting ready to hang in the hallway.
And these planters.
That come in three sizes and I’ve used them outside on the front porch.
And inside filled with metal leaves and fall stems.
And this wooden ampersand that my brother is making just for the sale.
And this industrial farmhouse rack from the kitchen.
And sets of farmhouse platters.
And tiny hand cut maps.
And these measuring cups.
And boxwood wreaths and metal top tables and metal urns.
And I may or may not be painting my own line of signs.
