Good thing.

Because right around 2023? The cutest, prettiest rugs are now SO AFFORDABLE.

And there are SO MANY to choose from at Walmart.

LET’S GO.

(total aside: the rug in my living room used to be seagrass (you can see the before and after here) and when I changed it out to this blue and white rug the entire room changed.

So in honor of summer and summer decorating and all the amazing ways we can makeover our house on a budget, I’ve found 10 beautiful, amazing rugs (most of which I have in my home) that won’t break the bank or your decorating budget.

My Top Ten Favorite Rugs from Walmart

Number 1: blue and white rug

If y’all only knew the number of messages I get about this rug.

It’s one of my favorite rug purchases I’ve ever made.

You can see it here (the 8′ x 10′ is under $160).

It’s super stain-resistant (Buddy has tested this) and comes in a zillion different sizes including a runner.

Number 2: cream and white rug in the entryway

This rug is so pretty because it has layers.

It’s really thick and the colors go so well in any neutral space.

This rug is actually a 5’x 7′, but comes in TONS of different sizes and you can see it here.

number 3: distressed gray area rug

This was the first rug I bought for our family room. It’s a version of the blue and white rug except in ivory and silver. It’s so pretty with its distressed edges and pattern variations.

It’s a 12′ x  15′ but it also comes in tons of different sizes and colors.

number 4: patterned gray rug

Here’s a different version with gray as the background instead of white.

A similar damask pattern, just a different look.

number 5: seagrass rug

And here’s one of my all-time favorites I used in the family room, too.

I had these seagrass rugs all over the farmhouse in Kentucky.

They are amazingly durable (although a little rough on bare feet sometimes).

Number 6: natural fiber rug

Here’s another natural fiber rug option that I used in Westleigh’s room when we first moved into the house.

This rug is not quite as stiff as the seagrass rug and much softer on the feet.

The rug from this photo is discontinued, but I found its identical twin here.

Number 7: brightly patterned rug

This rug is everything.

I cannot even tell you how brilliant it is in person.

The colors are absolutely amazing.

Number 8: muted colorful rug

This is a similar version to number 7, but the colors are a little more muted than in the previous version.

It would work perfectly with colorful or neutral furnishings.

Number 9: plaid rug

I know it’s summer, but I had to include a Christmas rug in the round-up.

And this rug is SUPER AFFORDABLE at just a little over $125 for an 8′ x 10′.

Last time I shared it, the rug sold out TWO TIMES. Every time they’d get it back in stock, it would sell out again.

It’s in stock right now and it’s so cute in any room that needs a little color.

I saved one of my favorites for last.
