(Takes deep breath).
If you come here for home decor I am going to disappoint you today.
I’m sorry in advance.
Never, ever, EVER in my wildest dreams when I started this blog did I EVER think I’d be writing a post about places I shop for clothes.
I’m home decor blogger. Remember? I share things like:
- how to paint your concrete porch
- how to make an obelisk out of an embroidery hoop
- 17 home projects you can finish in a weekend
- how to make your back porch look cuter
- how to pick a paint color
And a zillion other decorating tips and room makeovers and DIY projects just like that.
I lost almost 90 pounds.
And my clothes didn’t fit anymore so I started shopping and I discovered a NEW WORLD OF POSSIBILITIES.
So in case you have a closet that needs some new clothes.
I’m here to help.
Here are my favorite places to shop for cute spring clothes (and a few cute spring clothes I found).
Boden is my favoritist of favortist of favortist place to shop on the planet.
It’s definitely a splurge.
But I signed up for their e-mail list and they have amazing sales, so you can save money when you shop there.
I love, love, LOVE their shoes.
These blue and white shoes were such a splurge, but I wear them all the time. They are like mocassins and are SO comfortable. Boden is a British company, so you have to figure out sizing.
Another Boden find.
Did y’all know lavender is the color of the season?
You can see this dress here.
I love, love, LOVE Gibsonlook clothes. They are so comfortable and easy to wear and not that expensive (especially if you can find a coupon code).
One of my favorite spring sweaters (so soft and lightweight) is on sale right now.
I have it in the red and pink stripe.
And the leopard.
And the gray.
Have you seen the Crown and Ivy brand at Belk?
Super affordable (don’t let the prices deceive you—it’s always on sale) and cute and preppy.
There are so many fun options for summer.
This is a recent find.
I’ve shopped at Loft for years and I’ve shopped at Ann Taylor factory before at our local outlet store, but I just started shopping at Ann Taylor.
They run 40% off sales all the time and the clothes are so unusual.
I also ordered this yellow top with embroidery that so many of y’all asked about on Instagram stories.
And this lavender top is another version but in a slightly lower price point.
Tuckernuck is a new brand for me, too.
Again—a total splurge, but I shopped their twice-yearly sale and they had some AMAZING finds.
Every single piece I’ve ordered from them is such an incredible quality piece and it just feels like something you will keep in your closet forever like this striped dress.
You know I couldn’t leave Walmart off the list, right?
This flutter sleeve dress is eyelet and UNDER $16.
Let’s discuss these high-waisted pants.
Blue and black and white and khaki and pink.
They are SUPER FLATTERING on. My sister-in-law saw me wearing them and bought two pairs last night. They have the cutest frayed hem and they are wide-legged but have a fitted cut at the top so the legs don’t look awkward on someone that’s 5′ tall like me.
And the tie-dyed shirt is under $10 and comes in four different colors, too.
Here’s a board of fun fashion finds I discovered from Walmart (most of which are now hanging in my closet).
This blue floral dress.
This floral bag.
This white eyelet dress.
These khaki pants.
These white pants.
These blue pants.
This straw bag.
That was a LOT of clothes talk.
I hope it was a little helpful.
Let me know if you ever have any questions about any clothes on the blog and I’ll try my best to help.
We fashionistas have to stick together. 🙂
PS Back to our regularly scheduled home decor posts tomorrow.
PPS A giant thank you to Kenna Lynn Photography for most of the photos on this post.
