how to style a butler's pantry

It’s not that often that I get excited about small kitchen appliances.

Just between us?

I don’t even think I had a mixer until I had been married into double digits.

Blenders?

Toasters?

Coffee makers?

They were just there to make smoothies and English Muffins and coffee taste better.

And I’m still trying to figure out exactly how to use an air fryer.

So I never, ever, EVER thought a small kitchen appliance could make my heart beat faster or have amazing touch screens that appear and disappear with a simple press of the finger or come in so many fresh and pretty colors.

Until?

Until I discovered these.

How To Style a Butler’s Pantry

They are all from the Beautiful by Drew Barrymore line at Walmart.

Such an appropriate name.

Because that’s EXACTLY what they are.

Simply, perfectly, amazingly BEAUTIFUL. Most of the line comes in white icing or oyster gray or black sesame or sage green or cornflower blue.

Such a perfect gift for Mother’s Day.

If you are wondering how to style a butler’s pantry? I would start with THESE. When each of the pieces is sitting on the counter of my butler’s pantry, they add a clean classic element to the space. Let me walk you through each of the pieces that I purchased so you can see them in more detail.

There’s this air fryer.

It comes in two different sizes. I ordered the 9-quart size, but it also comes in a 6-quart version as well.

It’s amazing. You can cook two different foods at once using the individual 4.5qt capacity cooking zones or you can simply remove the divider to cook 1 larger meal using the full 9qt space.

You can air fry, broil, roast, bake, reheat and dehydrate.

And did I mention it was BEAUTIFUL? It comes in white icing (the one I have) or oyster gray or black sesame or sage green or cornflower blue.

You can see it here.

And look at this toaster.

It had me at the gold knob on the side.

In beautiful news? The display lights up when you touch the front. It’s all there—you just can’t see it until you touch the screen.

And this blender.

It’s so pretty.

It has a 1 horsepower motor and a removable pitcher on the top is dishwasher safe and it comes with 4 presets and 3 manual settings to make smoothies or crush ice or blend fruits or blend vegetables and more. You can get the blender in white icing (the one I have) or oyster gray or black sesame or sage green or cornflower blue.

And this coffee maker.

It holds 14 cups and it’s completely programmable. You can set it up to 24 hours in advance for the perfect cup of coffee. It has a touch screen on the front. When you aren’t using it—the screen disappears and it looks so classic and clean.

I saved this mixer for last because it’s truly so innovative and functional.

It has 6 different speeds along with a turbo function when you need a little bit of extra power. There’s a storage case that attaches to the bottom that helps to reduce clutter and keep all the accessories all in one place.

The mixer comes with 2 chrome beaters, 2 chrome dough hooks, and 1 stainless steel whisk attachment and you can find it in white icing (the one I have) or oyster gray or black sesame or sage green or cornflower blue.

And so, here’s what I brought home with me from Walmart and how I styled it in my butler’s pantry.

But that’s not the end of the story.

Of course not.

Around here there’s always another chapter.

This past week the twins came home for Easter and walked in the back door and saw the new appliances on the counter of the butler’s pantry and told me how beautiful they were.

And then?

They hugged me and told me how perfect they would be in their apartment next year and how the gold and white was so pretty and that they’d never seen an air fryer before that was as beautiful as that one.

Some mothers would have immediately told them they could have them and start packing them up for their first apartment.

Me?

Ummmm.

I just couldn’t give them up.

I love them too much.

So I just ordered an extra set. 🙂

PS Oh wait. These would be a perfect Mother’s Day gift—so make that three sets.

Love you mother.
