Somewhere along life’s way, I became a shoe shopper.

Raise your hand if you understand.

I think it started in fourth grade.

My mother would take me shopping at K-mart and we’d spend hours picking out one of my favorite things on the planet.

A first-day-of-school outfit.

You know. The one with jeans that had lace-up skates on the pockets and a white t-shirt with ruffles on the sleeves and a brand new pair of tennis shoes with neon laces.

Be. Still. My. Heart.

I’ve shopped for shoes my entire life, but after I lost 100 pounds and clothes shopping became even more fun? My shoe shopping went to the next level and the shoes started taking over my closet.

Until.

Until I found THIS AMAZING PRODUCT.

It literally DOUBLED the space I had for shoes overnight.

See what I mean?

It’s like a high-rise for shoes.

You can now put two pairs of shoes where you used to have one.

You can see the adjustable shoe rack here.

But let me show you how it works.

There are twenty sets of shoe organizers in the package and they come in two pieces like this.

The top just fits into the bottom.

There are holes on each side that fit into each other and an adjustable back (kind of like the adjustable back of a beach chair).

Simply clip them into each other like this.

Then adjust the height for your shoes.

If you have flats, the top and bottom will be closer together.

If you have tennis shoes, simply ramp it up slightly to adjust for the height of the shoes.

Then take your shoes and simply slide them into the organizer.

I slide the bottom in with the back showing.

And the top goes the opposite way.

And then?

Your shoes look like this.

There’s a little gripper on the top that holds the shoes in place because my shoe shelves are slanted downward.

Repeat the same step for the other 19 shoe organizers in the package.

Here’s what my shoe closet looks like now.

From this.

To this.

LET’S GO.

I think I’m nesting because the twins are leaving for college, but I’ve been on an organizing TEAR.

Here are 10 organizing products I just bought to make my life easier.

Whew.

That is a lot of organizing.

Just between us? It’s kind of addicting.

One minute your shoes are all over the place and then before you know it they are moving into the penthouse.

Have you ever tried these shoe organizers before?

And if you’ve ever tried any organizing products that worked?

I have a few more spaces (and shoes) waiting. 🙂
