Now I've been told that the 1st day of Christmas officially starts on the 25th of December. So we'll just have to celebrate for 12 more days on Christmas day! - Mary Brzys

Well I want some… the whole pie! And where in the world did you or anyone find fresh Strawberries????????? I live in Florida and I can’t find even one. And Plant City, Florida (long way from me) is famous for their Strawberries. I am saving both of these recipes too! And braid dough for a pie…… (me?) you got to be kidding. I tried doing a lattice top one time and I FAILED. I think the kitchen was too hot and therefore the dough? I really NEED someone to teach me to make pie dough crusts. I used to make a Pate Brisee when I made Quiche Alsacienne, but I am scared to even try that now. Anyway, that is the most beautiful pie! And would you believe….. I have NEVER even tasted a Strawberry Pie….. sobbing.

Is the only entry on Facebook or Instagram? No email entry. That knocks out your older followers/population perhaps? Oh well! My family doesn't do those, but we share video w Vine.

OMG!! I simply Have to win the contest. I am a fabricholic!! I LOVE fabric. Any kind!! I buy it in anticipation of what I could do. I could spend days at Calico Corners. I could write odes to those bolts of fabric just waiting to be taken home and used. Thank you for giving me a chance. Just the anticipation sends shivers up my spine. I feel like a child waiting for Santa. I'll be dreaming of what I can do :-)

It's called sucre à la crème (some fudge-like treat made with maple syrup and cream), my grand-father used to make them and they're delicious!
