Blogging is a two-dimensional media.
A blogger writes and a reader reads.
I talk like I write so I’m always trying to make my voice heard. I CAPITALIZE WORDS WHEN I’M REALLY EXCITED. I italicize words when I’m wondering or wistful or agreeing or confused. I use stand alone words when I’m incredulous. Like seriously? Or really? I’m always *sighing* or rolling my eyes or adding total asides or extra exclamation points.
It’s all in an attempt to make the words talk.
Or leap off the page.
Or become more than just an a or a b or a c.
But what if?
What if I could READ the story to you?
What if I could put the laughing or the sadness or the inflection or the joy or the wonder that I’m trying to create with these simple letters on a page?
Have you ever wondered what a post sounds like?
Oh, good.
Then this is the place for you.
I took four of my favorite posts and recorded them.

Really?
I hope so.
Because recording these stories?
IT WAS SO MUCH FUN.
PS I wish I could record a smile. 🙂
LOVE hearing your giggles and happy voice! Thank you for being so generous and sharing the best stories.
Oh, how much fun this was! Having been able to watch you LIVE on FB and having seen you LIVE at Haven, this was a treat, like you are right here in my home telling me the stories!
Listened to Love and Blueberries Pancakes. Loved hearing your voice, your expression, your giggles. Knew this cute story from its start, but with your voice telling it, I must give you 2 A+’s! I am more than positive, you knocked your blog achievements out of the park. You Rock!

Karianne, I love hearing your voice telling your wonderful stories! :)
Oh sweetheart love this idea and your sweet voice! Keep shining!
Hi Karianne! I really enjoyed the audio version of the blog! It’s so neat to be able to hear your voice! I also enjoyed each little story. You’ve raised some really wonderful children and that’s because their Momma is so sweet! I love your son’s dog too, by the way. I’m a huge animal lover. Thanks for giving us something a little different today, I really enjoyed it! Have a wonderful weekend! 😊 xx
Oh I LOVE this, Karianne!!
P.S. I’m so glad your daughters eye is healed and she’s doing well now! 😊
You did record a smile, I could hear it in your voice! What a lovely life and family you have created! Thank you for sharing your sunshine.
Your giggle is infectious! Love the audio option! You make me smile friend! Hugs to you this Spring day! XO Barb
Oh my goodness gracious I so loved the stories you shared with us!! It was great to put a beautiful voice with a beautiful face 😊😊. I laughed out loud with you about the sailor and lee press on nails 😂😂😁. I really could see you in my mind running to your boyfriend and those nails flying in the wind 😂😂😜🤪. I also cried with you and felt your sorrow and pain with your twin and her beautiful eyes. 😢😢 I hope you continue these voice recorded blogs. They really encourage me and lift me up!!!😊😊 Well I have been sitting in my beautiful newly remodeled kitchen too long. I need to get going on the housework whew never ending. But I will be anxiously waiting for the next story from you 😊😊. Prayers for you and your family 🙏🙏. I love God my family my husband and my home in Baker Florida 🥰🥰🥰
This made me smile! I love hearing your voice, enthuasium and laugh.
Awesome! Hubby is a keeper💓
This is so fun. I love hearing your voice.
This is so charming! My only suggestion is to buy a windscreen to place in front of your mic if you are using an auxiliary mic - it will soften the "p" pops......otherwise? Lovely.
Great way to start the morning with laughter! Thank you!
Hearing your voice tell these precious stories is wonderful. But the funny thing is I hear your voice in my head EVERY time I read your stories. Because you write YOU! That’s what I 💕 about your blog. You go rockstar!!
These made my day as I am home from work today not feeling well. The blue berry pancakes was so funny and how can u not laugh when you are laughing! So contagious! I loved it!! Thanks for bringing a little joy and humor into my life on a not so great day!
I loved "hearing" your blog - and your giggles are so priceless. But I feel I must say this: YOU don't NEED audio. At least for me I HEAR you in your amazing writing - your skills with the written word speak to me. So it was adorable to hear - but certainly not necessary if you didn't want to do it. You really are that good. Best in blogland, KA - and always have been the creme de la creme....even if is an oozing blue good kinda creme. Hugs to your hubs - what a guy. ♥
This was a clever happy post! Loved hearing the voices! Really special..maybe this will catch on? Who can resist pancakes? What a treat! My first time reading your sweet blog but I will join the list right now! Thank you!:0)
Love your sweet voice, your sweet personality , sweet giggles, and your family. Always love Buddy ! He's so pretty....like both of my Goldens. So nice that you had a wonderful childhood and you are passing it on to your children.
You are amazing! Love the laughs and your voice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thanks for sharing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is SO FUN! You are a ROCKSTAR!! Love, love!!! xoxo
I love it! Your voice is so soothing. You should record books on tape.
Hearing your stories makes it feel like you are back near Paducah, Kentucky. Enjoy your blog so much but miss seeing you around town.
Ok.....mind blown here!!! It really is you 💗. This is wonderful and fun and funny 😂. Thank you for taking the time to give us more of you 💜💜💜
You are Absolutely Awesome!
Is there not anything that you don’t do well..?? Your blog is my absolute favorite and I look forward to reading it every time you post....but this was icing on the cake! Hearing you read the words you wrote...and the giggles.....made me giggle!! My oh my, God has blessed you beyond means...beauty, talent, and a precious family. Thank you for sharing !
This is such an incredibly fun idea! LOVE IT!!!
I loved this!! So much more meaningful to hear you and not just read your words! The story about your son and his favorite song brought tears to my eyes. As the mother of two very adult children, it is still amazing to realize occasionally, that you did something right. That they do reflect their childhood and the family’s influence. Thank you.
I think you've started something big! What a joy to listen to your stories. Your voice is so cute and matches your face. What wonderful stories.
Thank you KariAnne for the gift of your stories!
Each story touched my heart, but the one about your son, touched it the most...thanks for these lovely moments!
