An elegant two-story house at night, warmly lit, featuring a front door flanked by columns with festive lights and windows casting a soft glow.

It’s Christmas Eve Eve here at the house.

Have you ever watched CBS Sunday Morning?  You know, the morning show where they talk about art and history and Broadway shows and people that collect matchboxes that look like race cars and you feel smarter just for having spent the morning with CBS and coffee?

Every show finishes with a segment that’s just a slice of life.

It could be the wind blowing through the grass on the prairie.  Or snow melting on the mountaintop.  Or wild geese flying across a winter sky.

There’s no talking.

There’s just being.

Right then and there in that moment.

So today I thought I would try something a little different.  Today I’m CBSing it.  Last night I just walked around my house with a camera and photographed all the twinkly moments of our house.

This Christmas Eve Eve.

Every sparkle.

Every shine.

Every quiet moment.

And grace.

And joy.

And moments that twinkle.

Wishing you the merriest of Christmases my friend.

I loved your CBSing moment! Just 'tween you me and gatepost, watching that CBS Sunday Morning show always made me feel a bit more elite, maybe even smarter somehow. But my absolute favorite part was always the end. That beautiful moment of somewhere in America captured on film. I think you did that perfectly.

Beautiful! By the way, I know of a family who calls December 23rd Christmas Adam. You know, because Adam came before Eve.
