Christmas decorating living room

May your cranberry bread be baked to perfection.

May your broccoli be steamed.

May your potatoes be mashed.

May your corn be buttered.

And may your turkey and dressing be shared with family and friends.

Just in case you had a few minutes between courses and conversation, I wanted to share one of my favorite Christmas tours ever.  In the history of ever.  I’m getting ready to deck some last minute halls here and show them off next week.

I went down several years ago and photographed this home from the Christmas home tour.  This amazing home was built by Gregg and Rains Building Group and decorated by two incredible designers named Kara and Lauren Blalock from Refresh Home.

Lauren and Kara….you are rock stars.

No one else could have designed a house like this and be so full of joy that you make my heart smile every time I see this house.

And now that we are BFF’s…..

….can you please come decorate my ceiling?  🙂

I live just two miles from Refresh! I love those girls! Four years ago when our daughter got married she walked in the store and told them, "I want that Christmas tree for my reception at Tulip Grove Mansion." They took all the decorations off and carefully packed them! When we moved to Franklin from Old Hickory two years ago, they gave lots of free advice on our "fixer upper." I love visiting them often! PS I am still praying for that retina!
