Lots of pretty projects as always. I agree with the comment about stirrup pants and boots. Every time I put my boots on I think that too.

Surprisingly, those stirrup pants, by pulling straight from the waist, actually hid a lot of leg issues and I wouldn't mind seeing their return even though I've really enjoyed my tights. I can't even imagine doing without tights although I suppose we'll look back one day longingly at those!

Love the paint stick table top. Hmmmm......inspiring me, as I have had a table in "storage" for some time. All beautiful projects tho!! Thanks!

I wore stirrup pants back in the day...but didn't like how they felt on my legs...they felt weird. I'm going to pass this time I think, and stick with leggings. I am not known in my family as Miss Fashion Forward...I'm more about comfort! ;)

Kari Anne, I've been following your blog for awhile now, though I don't think I've commented yet. Usually I'm reading your posts over a morning cup of tea, and I just wanted to tell you that you never fail to make me smile. I love your ideas, your wit, your stories about your family, and your boundless enthusiasm. I may not say much, but know that I'm here, smiling in the Chicago 'burbs!

Thanks for all the fabulous spring craft ideas- we are buried under 2 feet of snow-makes spring seem a long way away! :)

OMG!! I can't wait to get home -- only three more weeks. I think I've got a pair of velour stirrup pants at the bottom of a plastic bin. I know that's winter but I'm going to wear them anyway. I just couldn't part with them 20 + years ago. Thank you!! I'm doing a happy dance, a tarantella to be exact, right now. Have a sunshine filled day - you always bring sunshine to my day no matter what it's doing outside. HUGS ?

I'm pretty certain I still have my favorite stirrup pants from the 80s! I'm pretty certain they probably won't still fit.

Stirrup pants? Really?? Well...yay! For those of us with less than gorgeous gams and 60-something, those are a real life-saver. And I am in love with all the projects, especially the hanging mason jar flower vase and the faux succulent wreath!

And after all that build up... I thought it was going to be your painted back door....And of course a photo of your new robe! LOL!!! Can't do stirrup pants... leggings are my friend. Happy Spring!!!!!

There *may* be a picture of me (looking, of course, incredibly hot!) in stirrup pants. Ha. But I do love my leggings. I've always loved your twigs/nests/birds mantel. It makes me happy to look at it.

Oh yeah! I wore stirrup pants back in the day! Very comfortable for when I taught preschool. Swoon, loved the little table with the paint stick top. Pinned that one for a future project,

I thought stirrup pants were dreadful. They were never the right length. However, wide leg pants with high waists are also coming back! True comfort, here I come. Good-bye horrid low-waisted skinny jeans forever. On another note, I love the birds and flowers, especially the mossy runner with nests and various birds. What an idea juxtaposing those with the black and white motifs! Brilliant!

I love the hanging mason jar vase with the reclaimed mantle wood. Also the wreath place settings. But stirrup pants? Never cared for 'em. Like my leggings, even with boots.

Karianne, You always put a song in my heart, a skip in my step and sometime a tear may fall. Whether that tear is happy or a heart tug you always make my day. Thank you for so many smiles!

I saw stirrup pants at H&M in Spain. I had a pair or two back in the day. I'm not sure I'm going to buy new ones, hahaha! Love the plate with the bird silhouettes...great collection of projects! Thanks for sharing with us at Creatively Crafty #ccbg :)
