I know these look like mild-mannered sisters with a smile on their face and a giggle in their heart.
But truly?
They are superheroes.
Why?
There are a zillion and one reasons that I don’t have time to get into on this post, but mainly because they are AMAZING at selecting the perfect gifts for teen girls. They have created gift guides for me for the last two years and so many of you ordered from it and told me the selections were perfect and have been e-mailing me asking me if they will create it again this year.
And when I asked them? They literally laughed out loud and told me they already had all the ideas ready.
Mostly because I shopped their list last year.
And all that gift guide showed up under the tree.
So here’s their new list for 2020.
Here are their suggestions for the 17 best gifts for teen girls.
(total aside: don’t be surprised at the extra explanation on some of them—they are related to me. Extra is their middle name. 🙂
1. Mask case
Hello 2020, I’m looking at you.
Yes. The number one thing on their list was this cute mask case.
Brilliant idea and the most adorable idea.
It comes in several colors and you can see the mask case here.
2. Every Single Moment Prayer Journal
I actually bought this for Westleigh about a while ago and she told me it was her very favorite present she had ever gotten and to put it at the top of the list.
In a world that is so full of sadness, this book brings hope.
And the amazing promise of tomorrow.
It’s full of prompts that walk you through the future and your hopes and dreams for tomorrow and help you savor the present.
You can see it here.
3. Scrunchie
I giggled when I saw this on their list.
These are SCRUNCHIES they said.
I’m aware.
I’m pretty sure these are the same ones I wore in college. But what is old is new again and these scrunchies showed up in velvet.
4. Live in Love
Westleigh LOVED this book.
She read it and recommended it over and over again to everyone she knows.
It’s such an inspiration and a bright light.
You can order it here.
5. Face brushes
These are handheld and according to the twins are a cute stocking stuffer.
They come in a pack of four and these fun colors.
You can see them here.
6. Tiny hearts ring
This the THING according to the twins.
Everyone has one (except them).
And this mom was so happy to see James Avery made the list.
You can see this ring here.
7. Sugar Paper Journal
This recommendation came straight from Westleigh.
She loves journals and this one is so pretty.
It’s from Sugar Paper and it matches her room.
Here’s the info on the journal.
8. Birchbox
We all decided this was our favorite gift from last year so we are adding it to the list.
It’s SUCH an amazing value for the money. It’s a beauty subscription box full of different fun sample products each month.
I ordered all 12 months at one time last year and it was cheaper, but you could just give a month or a couple of months.
You can read more about it here.
9. Daily Devotional
Both girls have this book.
It’s written by teen girls for teen girls.
They’ve read it cover to cover and are reading it again.
It’s an inexpensive gift idea that gives back all year long.
See the book here.
10. This tiny purse
I bought these for the twins for their birthday off of Amazon.
They come in the cutest colors and are perfect for holding a phone and a few other things.
You can see them here.
11. Wet brush
This brush is designed for wet hair to get the tangles out.
Hence the name.
You can see it here.
12. Monogram necklace
This is such a fun personalized gift.
It’s simple and classic.
You can see the necklace here.
13. color transparent clips
Just like scrunchies?
These clips are making a comeback–especially in these fun, transparent colors.
You can see the clips here.
14. Really popular shoes
This was a last-minute addition that Whitney texted me.
I had to add the picture that she sent along with the high recommendation.
Who wouldn’t want really popular shoes?
15. Build Your own necklace
These necklaces let you customize them and add charms.
You can add whatever is special to your special person.
16. This backpack
I bought this for the twins for their birthday and it’s a winner.
You can see it here.
17. These sharpies
And can I tell you how happy I am that this made the list? This awesome suggestion was made by one of the twins’ closest friends Sevin.
Isn’t it amazing?
In a world where they could ask for anything.
Sharpies.
Yes.
These creative sharpies with these amazing tips made their list.
Maybe because their heart beats a little faster when they see a new art supply.
Just like their mom.
Hope you enjoyed all our suggestions.
Happy Christmas shopping and let us know if you have any questions or need a specific recommendation on something.

This is so appreciated! I'm certain much of this would be good for my tween girl. :) Please thank Whitney and Westleigh for their list-- it will help this mama so much.
The link for the hairbrush and monogramed necklace doesn't work. Can you please see if you can fix it. I think my granddaughters would love it.
Loved the ideas and the girls are sooooooooooooooo beautiful, like their Mother. Already ordered some ideas. Thanks so much! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!
I think my daughter already has that hairbrush and yes, it's a winner for those with long hair. Thanks for the list, girls. BTW, I think I can tell them apart!!! And not just because their dresses are a different color ....
Thanks for the list, Beautiful(s)! You are as lovely inside as you are on the outside. I use the wet brush on my hair too-so its good for all of us! Happy Thanksgiving!
Such sweet girls and a great list!! Most of these items are good for 20 something superhero daughters too ;) I had to chuckle at the "scrunchie" awareness statement. Oh my, they have no idea our 1980's selves were the queens of scrunchies in every bright shade of red, yellow, and beyond!! Happy Blessed Thanksgiving to you and yours, friend!
Your girls are so beautiful. And what a great list!! I will be sending these gifts to some very special teens. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
What an amazing list! Your girls are so precious and I am sure their list will be making a lot of teen girls really happy this Christmas!! 🎄🧡
This grandma also says thank you so much! I wish you had a list of gifts for boys too!! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanks so much for the recommendations. I'm sure my girls would love to see those gifts under the tree too! Will you be doing a gift guide for teen boys? My 17 year old is so difficult to buy for if you want to get something other than video games

Love that your girls can advise for those hard-to-buy-for teens. I don't have any to buy for, but I went through your list I thought it was so good!!!
What a fantastic list. Thank you. Not just for teens either, my girls are in their thirties and would love some of these.! My granddaughter is five - going on 15, and would like some of these as well. Lynne
Darling girls just like their Mama! I have two girls also, both of them having babies in the new year, Nana is in Heaven! Happy Thanksgiving to us all!
GREAT ideas, ladies! (Or gent - Sevin? Not sure, lol.) Appreciate these awesome ideas. And you two are gorgeous. And you look like your gorgeous momma. ♥♥♥ Happy Thanksgiving!
Yes, we need a teen boy gift list! Your boys are a little older than my FOUR boys, but I need help! I'd even take suggestions from your girls for a boy list 😉. They're good pickers!
I just love the simplicity and practicality of these gifts! Nothing over the top, just basic everyday useful ideas. Thanks to your twins because I find my teenage niece so hard to buy for!! And velvet scrunchies...who knew they were back? yay:)
Thank You ladies for the list of suggestions. Have a Blessed Christmas and Holiday season. God Bless. Joan,Marion and Marilyn
Love those mini-Thistles!! xoxo
