I’m so happy that you e-mail me.

Seriously.

When I open my inbox and see an e-mail in my inbox from you, my heart skips a beat and I seriously start smiling.

And most of the e-mails that you send me?

They are all about paint colors and things that you see in the house that you want to know where they came from. So today I thought it might be fun to answer those questions. I thought it might be fun for you all to see what some other friends like in the house and see if you might like it, too. Today I’m sharing all the finds and where they came from—especially the things that I find on a budget.

Grab a cup of coffee and come tour the house with me.

Here are 12 of my favorite decorating finds under $50.

Q: Where did you get that driftwood sphere in your office?

I love this piece so much.

It works everywhere. I actually got it years ago at a local boutique in Kentucky.

But I just found it over on Wayfair for only $18.99.

You can see it here.

Q: Where did you get the driftwood bowl on your family room table?

I fell in love with this bowl when I first saw it.

I’ve filled it with pumpkins and spheres and more driftwood and greenery.

It came from Bed Bath & Beyond.

You can see it here.

Q: Where did you get the glass lamp beside the bed in the room with the wood ceiling?

This is one of my most pinned rooms of all time.

I took the picture at a local showhouse.

I fell in love with that lamp, but I couldn’t find the original source, so I found one that’s super similar.

It’s only $43.99 over on Wayfair.

You can see it here.

Q: Where did you get the bedding in this room?

I love, love, LOVE how the designers layered the bedding in this room.

I don’t know the sources of the original, but I found bedding that is super similar.

You can see the quilt here (the quilt is AN AMAZING BUY. It comes in a set and the king is only $31.59)

Q: Where did you get the curtains in the bedroom with the shiplap?

The best part of that question?

These are actually SHEETS. I know, right?

We just attached them with brass curtain rings from Home Depot.

They came from Target and they are only $9.99.

You can see them here.

Q: Where did you get the round gold mirror in the shiplap bedroom?

This is one of my FAVORITE MIRRORS on the planet.

I went back and bought another one after I purchased this one.

You can find it at Target.

I think the price went up a little since I bought it because it’s $59.99 online now.

But I’m making an executive decision and including it in the list anyway because it is SUCH an amazing buy.

See the mirror here.

Q: Where did you get the curtains in your office?

This is one of my number one questions.

They are actually DROPCLOTHS (you can see all my dropcloth curtain FAQ’s here).

I know, right?

Super, super affordable. Especially because they are over 108″ long.

I use 9″x 12″ dropcloths to make my curtains.

I found these that are super affordable from Overstock.

See them here.

Q: Where did you get the runner in your kitchen?

This is the runner version of the rug in the living room.

It comes in different lengths.

Mine is 10′ long.

You can find it over on Overstock for $45.19.

See the rug here.

Q: Where did you get the lamps in your family room?

I love these lamps. I think I have six of them all over my house.

I bought them at Target and they are on SALE right now.

You can see the lamps here.

Q: Where did you get the blue and white platters on your kitchen wall?

They are so pretty in person.

Just the perfect amount of uniqueness.

They are actually under $20 and I got them at Bed, Bath & Beyond.

You can see them here.

Q: Where do you find all your whiteware platters?

I collect them from everywhere.

Yard sales, thrift stores, the attic, my mother’s attic.

If you want to start you own collection, I found this one that’s super affordable.

You could get two for under $50.

See the platter here.

Q: Where did you get the embroidered pillows on your porch?

These pillows are so pretty.

They are oudoor pillows that are a charcoal gray (almost black) with white embroidery.

They came from Bed, Bath & Beyond.

You can see them here.

I hope you had fun touring and shopping today.

I love your blue and ivory rug and runner. When you posted they were on sale, I bought a twelve foot runner. Mine seems to be bowed. It drives me crazy. I'm forever trying to straighten. Anyone else have that problem?
