These fruit infused waters are the BEST way to stay hydrated. 10 recipes and an amazing tool to help you drink more water.
If you have been following along with this blog (or if you watch my YouTube Channel) you might have noticed one of my favorite befores and afters.
Me.
Yep.
ME.
Last year on May 28, I finished my weight loss journey and lost 105 pounds.
(total aside: seven months later and that’s still my favorite thing to drop in conversation.)
Yikes.
That is almost an entire person.
Here’s a side by side so you can see the journey.
And one of the biggest things that helped with my transformation?
WATER.
Seriously. I have had at least 60 ounces of water every day since the beginning of my weight loss journey and along the way it brought me even more benefits, too. Hydration is the key to life. It takes away my cravings and helps with my digestion and makes my skin clearer and makes my hair stronger. And on and on and drinking water on.
How do I do it? How do I drink all that water?
Fruit infused waters are the key.
And I discovered the BEST TOOL EVER to help.
This fruit diffuser water bottle.
You can see it here.
A friend actually gave it to me and it changed my life. There’s a center tube that you add the fruit to and then you fill it with water and the fruit stays in the center of the diffuser and spills out into the water.
Here are a few diffusing tips I’ve learned along the way:
- The longer the fruit diffuses into the water the better it tastes. I like the infused water best after about 2 hours.
- I like my fruit water cold, so I make it in the morning and add it to the refrigerator.
- The flavor is actually very light. It’s not overwhelming. Just an easy way to make water taste even better.
- I don’t like the water the next day. It’s best fresh.
- You can create your own combinations in addition to these creations of mine. These are just some of my favorites.
- You want to cut the fruit into bigger chunks rather than smaller pieces so it stays in the center of the diffuser.
- You can also shake it up a little and add sparkling water for a little zip to the drink.
- This is my favorite fruit diffuser water bottle.
And now?
Here are 10 of my favorite diffused water combinations.

You look wonderful! How did you lose the weight? Was it a specific diet? I would love to lose at least 175 lbs. Please let me know how you did it. I'm going to try your water recipe suggestions.
I just ordered the water bottle. Our school is doing a Winter Wellness. One of the requirements is to drink water. Luckily, I happened upon this today and I ordered one. Yeah! Thank for all of your suggestions and amazing products. Just love your energy and watching you!
Hi, your weight loss journey has been inspiring and the fact that you did it without a crash diet or something that would not stay with you after you reached your weight loss goal. I know that I don't drink enough water and have tried adding fruit directly to a water bottle; sometimes not with the best results, so I will try your suggestion for drinking more water. Question, can you or do you refill your water bottle (same day) with more water and the original day's fruit or do you add new fruit each time you put more water in the bottle? Thank you for your amazing post.
Sue, Sometimes I change it and sometimes I leave it! There’s definitely less flavor the second time around! I like to change it but sometimes I’m out of other fruit! happy day, karianne

These. are. wonderful!!! xoxo
KariAnne, how do you wash the citrus fruits before you drop them in the water? And do you just rinse the mint and rosemary? Sounds so good!
Judy, Normally I don’t wash citrus! I just peel it and add it to the water! And I just rinsed off the other fruit and the herbs before I added them! happy day, karianne
Thank you for the recipes.. I just ordered the bottle! I was wondering if you could share your weight loss method and also any other tips! Thank you
