Remember the smocked burlap curtains?

Remember how much we loved them?

Remember how we wanted to wrap ourselves in burlap and paint the town?

Now you can make your own.

Days of Chalk and Chocolate has an amazing tutorial on how to make them.

Jenny, you are a rock star.

Jen from FourMarsOneVenus posted this easy tutorial on how to stencil a rug over at Hometalk.

She only paid $17.00 for the rug.

Which now looks like a million dollars.

Kate from Kate’s Creative Space posted this easy tutorial for chalk tag coffee cups.

Great tutorial….check.

Easy project….check.

Incredibly funny and talented blogger….check.

How to make a hand carved rubber stamp

There are about 5,000 incredibly creative projects over at Compulsive Craftiness.

We are a little short on space over here at Thistlewood Farm.

So I had to pick just one.

Here’s a great tutorial on how to make your own rubber stamp.

In your spare time, be sure to check out the other 4,999 🙂

PS  Did you see that giant Union Jack flag that they carried in the opening ceremonies last night?

When I saw it….all I thought of was this.

I wonder what the Olympic organizers would think of that 🙂

  11. Here’s the problem. It’s Saturday, I’ve been working all day but still have much on my to-do list. I open my laptop to list some things on eBay but saw your latest post on my Google reader and remembered that I didn’t have time to look at it last night. Thought I’d take a quick peek, then get to work. Now I have multiple tabs so that I can pin all these great ideas… I will resist the temptation to graze in the pastureland of these blogs right now… must work…

Maybe I’ll get some chocolate to make the medicine go down easier.
